September Family Update

Hello All,
Alex's first month has flown by. All of the kids are in school now, and I will have to head back to work in 3 weeks.
Alex/Ali (we haven't figured it out yet) is doing great. At her one month appointment she weighed 11 pounds 12 ounces, so needless to say she is a great eater! She has been sleeping well at night, she usually gives me one good 5 hour chunk of sleep, so I have been feeling pretty rested by the morning. She is starting to smile, and her eyes follow me around the room, it is awesome to experience all those little leaps of life again. She is getting cuter and cuter.
Anthony was excited to start school again. The teacher said that he initiates games of hide and seek, and he was in charge of keeping score when they played bowling. Sounds like my Anthony, he loves to compete and run the show. He can count to 100 by himself now, and he still loves beating me at card games. He is adjusting well to the changes with Alex. I think that he and Jack both are missing some cuddling time with mommy, but daddy has been stepping in, and the boys love to hold eachother as well.
Jack has developed a wonderful imagination. Yesterday he decided that he was a rat. But rats don't wear clothes, so he took all of his clothes off and called himself Lucy (Lucy is the rat in Jack's classroom). Or he likes to be the teenage mutant ninja turtle Leonardo. He will only respond to Leo, and he Kung Fu's all of the pillows in the house (or his brother). He is much more enthusiastic about school this year, and they bumped him up to the 3 year old classroom since he is potty trained and fits right in. Instead of kissing Alex, he gently rubs his cheek against hers and says "I wuv you Awex". It melts my heart!
Jordan is in 6th grade this year! She is loaded with homework but is handling it like a pro. She just started volleyball again, so we are excited to see her start playing games. She will go to Science camp this November, oh the memories! She is doing wonderfully.

Phil has jumped into Baseball already. The all already putting the kids to work with workouts and open field. I have been taking the boys down to the field to get their cuts in. It is so great that they are old enough to start hanging out with dad at practice!

Otherwise we are just trucking along. My dad has been working on the house a lot, and it is really getting exciting to see it coming together! Phil has been helping him on the weekends, and we just can't wait! Love you to all!
