Basketball

Jordan had her first basketball game this weekend. Her team only scored 2 points, and those points came with about 30 seconds left in the game. Needless to say, they have got a long way to go! But Jordan did great for her first game, she played hard, and she took a good amount of shots. I think her adrenaline was pumping pretty hard though, because all of her shots were like bullets off of the backboard! We had fun watching her, and she had fun playing.

Football Mania

It is official: My son is a football fanatic. I have never been to a professional football game in my life, and my 3 year old has been to 4. It is a wonderful bond between Anthony and Phil, and I am sure Jack will follow. Anthony loves to catch the football in the living room and dive into the couch for a touchdown. Sometimes he moves in slow motion with this funny expression on his face, he imagines himself breaking tackles and scoring the big touchdown. He asks Phil about 30 questions a day, "Which team are you going for?" "Was that a first down?" He knows terms like "touch back", "interception", and "running back"and Frank Gore seems to be his favorite player these days. It will be a miracle if both of the boys get to 10 years old without one of them cracking their heads open. Lord help me.

Christmas

Christmas has come and gone already. It was the first Christmas that the boys really anticipated Santa coming. They had a blast opening all of the gifts, and I think it took us about a week to recover from the craziness of being surrounded by all of these new toys. We had a wonderful break from school and work, and we did a lot of hanging out at the house. We are always on the go so much, it was nice change to veg out. I am starting to feel like myself again, the nausea and fatigue have been stronger than before with this pregnancy, but I am forcing myself to get up and move, which is helping. Of course having two mama's boys doesn't allow me to sit on my butt very often either. Phil has been a big help, spending extra time with the boys, and bringing me my ice cream every night :)
